| Notes |
- Thomas Keough and Isabella Daly's sons Luke Wellington (b. 14 Oct 1867) and Thomas Henry (b. 19 Oct 1869) are the closest children by birth date to this "Luck Francis", deceased 5 Jul 1872, aged 3 years.
While he could have been born about the late summer/early fall of 1868 – which would match the 3 year age and still allow for normal childbearing – the 1871 Canada census lists Luc age 3 and Thomas age 2 (therefore, estimate birth years 1867/1868 and 1869/1870 respectively.)
Checked the registers of St. Patrice, St. Jacques and L'Assomption for the period directly but no additional child. Also checked for an age of 3 months rather than 3 years wtihout success.
Luke Wellington Keough married on 21 Jul 1890, and deceased 1 Apr 1936, buried at Notre Dame des Neiges Cemetery, Montreal, so it definitely was not him who was buried in 1872.
Thomas Henry continues to appear in the Canada censuses for 1881 and 1891 (at least), so he can be ruled out, too.
Pending addtional documentation, it is assumed that this person is a separate child, not reported at the 1871 Census of Canada.
(Comment on name - possible that the name listed at burial reads "Link Francis". That would be consistent with a given name of Lincoln Francis Keough, which would have been in keeping with the male naming pattern in this particular family.)
