Leo had a B. of Arts. He worked for the Hochelaga Bank and was transferred to Lac La Biche to open and manage the first bank (Hochelaga) in Lac La Biche. during the Depression the bank in Lac La Biche closed. He and his family then moved to
Legal and then to St. Albert. In 1940 he was hired by the Coal Valley Mine as Office Manager. He was there in several managerial positions until the mine closed in 1955. He and Marguerite retired in Edmonton.
