Conway....Thomas Arthur Whitehead, age 67, of Summer Drive, died Thursday, October 16, 2008 at Conway Medical Center.
Mr. Whitehead was born in Watervliet, NY, a son of the late Charles and Peggy Whitehead. He was a US Air Force Veteran, US Army Reserves and the US Army National Guard. Mr. Whitehead was a member of the Elks Club for 35 years. He retired from the Federal Government. Mr. Whitehead was predeceased by his wife, Shirley Whitehead.
Surviving are one son, Guy R. Chatterton and wife Sherri of Morganton, NC; three daughters, Debra L. Briggs of Conway, Cerena Kinsey and husband Marshall of Greenville, NC and Yolanda Sones and husband Anthony of Columbia, Mississippi; eleven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Donelly Whitehead and wife Kerri of Troy, NY and Butch Whitehead of Watervliet, NY; one sister, Sharon Collen of Watervliet, NY.
