Bonnie Ruth Clapp Weise, 74, of Idaho Falls, passed away Oct. 12, 2010, at the Idaho Falls Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born April 12, 1936, on the family farm in Bonneville County, Idaho, to Leslie Charles Clapp and Katie Christina McNulty Clapp. She grew up and attended schools in the area, graduating from Bonneville High School.
On April 10, 1955, she married Christain Frederick Weise in Bonneville County. Their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on May 26, 1965. Her husband preceded her in death Aug. 7, 2001. Bonnie was a homemaker and a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Bonnie enjoyed camping, reading, and gem and mineral hunting, and loved hunting and fishing with her father.
Survivors include her son, Chris L. (June) Weise of Idaho Falls; daughter, Linda Archibald of Rexburg, Idaho; stepdaughter, Kathy Ross of Richland, Wash.; brother, John Clapp of Idaho Falls; brother-in-law, David Weise Sr. of Goshen, Idaho; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; two brothers, Lee and Gene; a son-in-law, Richard; and a stepdaughter, Susan.
Graveside services will be at 11:15 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 16, at Fielding Memorial Park. The family will visit with friends from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Ave., prior to the services at the cemetery.
