      Mrs. E. Stanton Broderick has been awarded a life membership in Alpha Iota, international honorary business sorority, by the Albany Alumnae Chapter.
      The award waa made in recognition of her service to the chapter and its members both as an officer and as the sponsor for seven years. Mrs. Broderick, who formerly was employed by the state, lives in Wstervliet
      with her husband and two small sons.
      Other presentations made by the chapter include merit awards for outstanding work in the last year. They went to Miss Faye Gamble, Miss Elsie Barth and Miss Katherine Moeller. Miss Barth, retiring president also wss given the
      past president's key by the incoming president, Mrs. William Smith.
