MARY E. AHEARN RYAN

Mary E. Ahearn Ryan died on Monday, October 18, 2010 at Holy Cross Hospital, Silver Spring, MD. She was the beloved wife of James A. Ryan of Kensington, MD and the mother of Melissa Bachmann of Oahu, HI and Amanda Ryan of San Francisco, CA. Beth, as she was known, was born in Troy, New York, October 25, 1950, and was the oldest child of Paul T. Ahearn and the late Ruth Ahearn. She is survived by brothers, Paul T., P. Alan, Michael C., and David F. She is also survived by several uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces in the Albany New York area. Beth was a fun loving, outgoing personality and for years held a Halloween Party with some of the most outlandish costumes one could imagine. It went on until early morning. Beth was an inveterate reader and would frequently stay up all night if she was into a book that interested her. Friends are invited to a funeral mass at St Bartholomew's Church, 6900 River Rd, Bethesda on Wednesday, October 27 at 11 a.m. Arrangements by Rapp Funeral Home
