WATERVLIET Elizabeth Betty G. Morelli Favata, 89, formerly of Watervliet, died Saturday, January 31, 2004 at the Eden Park Health Care Center in East Greenbush. Born in Watervliet on February 22, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Anna Shavo Morelli. Mrs. Favata was a homemaker and was a member of the 27th Military Division Ladies Auxiliary. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Watervliet and was a member of its Mother's Club. She loved her family and enjoyed having coffee with her sisters. She was the beloved wife of the late Rocco Favata who died in 1983; devoted mother of Jean (Joseph) JoJo and Raymond (Dolores) Favata, both of Watervliet, Michael (Regina) Favata of Niskayuna, Lou Ann (Charles) Broderick of Melrose and the late Paul Favata and his wife Cathy of Watervliet; loving sister of Ann Ragosta, Helen Barbuto, Mary Pitaniello and John Morelli, all of Watervliet, Thomas Morelli of Fla. and the late Nicholas and Albert Morelli and Rose Walker. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her grandchildren, Frank Broderick, Maryann Favata and Valerie Favata. The funeral will be Wednesday morning at 8:45 from the Parker Bros. Memorial, 2013 Broadway, Watervliet and at 9:30 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Watervliet. Interment, St. Patrick's Cemetery, Watervliet. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. Contributions may be made to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 410 23rd Street, Watervliet, NY 12189.
