- Information per email Cheryl Mack to SMB, 5/12/09, referencing St. Mary's Church records:
I checked the St. Mary's church records again (looking for different spellings), and found James Dalee married Margaret Guare on May 14, 1853. Witnesses were William Kayley and Anna Buntell. Given that these are transcriptions, and the fact that the name "Guare" doesn't show up in baptismal or other records that I checked, I'm a little dubious about the spelling - could have been Guire (or McGuire). [I had one that had been transcribed Guane and it turned out to be Quinn]
