      Surnames: Rowan, Corcoran
      I have your Michael Rowan and Elizabeth Corcoran in my family tree as well. Ann Monahan, the sister of my g-grandfather Kiearn Monahan, married Ambrose Rowan,(born 23 Feb 1840 in Rawdon, son of John Rowan and Margaret Havrin. John Rowan, born about 1811 in County Mayo, Ireland, was the son of Michael Rowan and Elizabeth Corocoran.

      Kiearn Monahan married Marguerite Anne Rowan, daughter of Patrick Rowan and Catherine Skelly. Both Patrick and Catherine were from County Mayo, Ireland. Patrick Rowan was the son of John Rowan and Honora Corcoran. Although it would seem that the John Rowan family and the Michael Rowan family may be related, I have not found information to prove it.
