      On 21 Aug 1882 were married John Higgins, of the city of Chicago, United States, son of age of the late Timothy Higgins and Norah Martin, of the city of Castlegal, county of Sligo, Ireland, and Catherine Smith, of the parish of St-Patrice de Montreal, daughter of age of Daniel Smith, and of the late Margaret Mullarky of the parish of St-Alphonse on the other part. Witnesses were Thomas Hogan and Oliver St Onge.
