Vincent C. Henry
FALL RIVER -- Vincent C. "Vinny" Henry, 82, of Mitchell Drive died Sunday, Feb. 27, 2000, at Rose Hawthorne Lathrop Home. He was the widower of Mary Ellen (Steadman) Henry.
Born in Fall River, the son of the late William and Mary (Donnelly) Henry, he lived in Portsmouth, R.I., for many years and in Tiverton, R.I., for a few years; he returned to Fall River in 1952. He was an active member and eucharistic minister at St. Louis Church, where he was a bingo volunteer. He received the Marian Medal in 1987.
Mr. Henry was a builder and finish carpenter for many years, and was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 86.
Survivors include two brothers, Peter E. Henry of Tiverton and Raymond A. Henry of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; and nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Mary P. Glynn, Daniel Henry and William Henry.
His funeral will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday at Auclair Funeral Home, 690 S. Main St., with a Mass at 10 at St. Louis Church, Bradford Avenue. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery.
